Use this workspace from input to export

A dedicated page opens the correct tab. Save and Open preserve the editable Functions, Table, Shading, Revolution and Axes scopes together with their objects and images.

Quick guide

  1. In Functions, add an object and choose y = f(x), x = f(y), Parametric, Polar, or Equation / Inequality.
  2. Enter the expression with the formula palette or keyboard, then set visibility, From/To range, color, thickness and line style.
  3. Use Analysis and Points when enabled, and use Axes to set bounds, grid, labels, scale, angle unit, title and legend.
  4. Add editable text, Alpha formulas or local images as needed, then Save, export PNG/SVG or use Copy for Word.

Functions and relations you can plot

  • Multiple Cartesian functions y = f(x), each with its own visible range and drawing style.
  • Sideways functions x = f(y), with independent y-range limits.
  • Parametric curves x(t), y(t) and polar curves r(t), including a configurable parameter interval.
  • Equations and inequalities, together with multiple simultaneous graph objects.

Analysis and point-data tools

  • Evaluate a function at exact inputs such as 1/3, sqrt(2), pi/6 or e/2.
  • Show the derivative, tangent or normal line, and find zeros, extrema or stationary points.
  • Calculate an integral, geometric area or arc length on an interval, with optional region shading.
  • Trace points with the pointer, or enter point pairs, connect them and add a linear or quadratic trend line.

Axes, labels and annotations

  • Set x/y bounds, grid visibility and style, axis visibility, major ticks and tick length.
  • Control axis-number fonts and colors, O/x/y symbols, equal-axis scale or a custom x-to-y unit ratio.
  • Choose radians or degrees, show a legend and add a title on the graph.
  • Drag axis numbers and symbols independently; double-click axes, ticks, labels or inserted objects for precise editing.

Edit, save and export

  • Use A to insert editable plain text or an Alpha Formula. Insert images from the device, and add Line or Arrow objects where those buttons are available.
  • Select and drag objects directly. Double-click an object to edit it; image handles resize or rotate it, and Front/Back controls set its layer.
  • Undo and Redo include drawing changes, object edits, table edits, inserted images and axis customizations.
  • Save downloads a portable .ogp project containing Functions, Table, Shading, Revolution, Axes and their editable objects. HTML creates a launcher that restores the same saved scopes in a real OnlineGraphing.com tab.
  • Open loads a saved .ogp project. PNG and Copy create raster output, while SVG remains vector-based and stays sharp when enlarged.

The Analysis and Points tabs may be hidden by the site administrator. Because .ogp files do not include current Analysis results or Points-tab entries, record or export important data separately.

Tip: save an .ogp project before making major changes so supported editable content can be restored later. The project file does not include Analysis results or entries from the Points tab.
